Our producer Jonathan Wyman is rolling up his sleeves and digging into the mix today! He’s starting with two songs called Unsteady and Two Bare Hands. Unsteady was inspired by a number of letters that dealt with the theme of drug/alcohol abuse and the effect it can have on relationships, and the idea that even strong people depend on others more than they show. Two Bare Hands was inspired by a letter from a girl who had always leaned on other people, then took a strong independent step by moving overseas away from her comfort zone and taking risks, which shaped her into a stronger and more self-reliant woman. “You will find that sometimes all you have; your beating heart and your two bare hands!”
